Follow Up Letter for Order

You have placed an order on an online store and haven’t received a product yet, or the received product is faulty. You want to send a follow-up letter for the order you’ve placed.

Dear {Store Name / Manager / Customer support agent},

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to follow up on my order. I placed the order on {Date} and sent an email to request an update on said order on [Date]. I haven’t heard anything back, so I just wanted to check in to see if (the order had gone out yet / you have resolved the issue with the order I wrote about in the previous email).  

OPTIONAL: I was also wondering if I could get a refund for the faulty product that I received. The product arrived with a {describe the exact issues, like: a hole in it, it was obviously used before. Also, mention the effect of that experience on your life or well-being. {Describe the service, and you might even add a soft threat of consequences like I will never order from you again, or I would not recommend you to my wide and tight-knit group of friends. I am very disappointed with the product and the service that I have received.}
