Follow Up Letter After Interview No Response

You held a job interview. It went great, and the candidate is promising. You have sent an email after the interview to let the candidate know they have gotten the job, but the candidate is not responding. Now you want to send a follow-up letter after an interview without a response to discuss the job opportunity with the candidate and hopefully get an answer.

Dear {Candidate’s Name},

Thank you for coming in for an interview { when / example: last week}. We enjoyed getting to know you and are excited about the possibility of having you join our team at {company}.

I wrote to you already to notify you that you have gotten the job if you still want it. I am aware of how hectic inboxes may get and that you probably hadn’t seen the previous email with the job offer.

We personally think that it would be a great mutual fit for you and us. We wanted to reach out and see if you had had a chance to think any more about the job and whether or not you’re still interested.

If you have received our previous email but are still weighing the options, or If you’re unsure about the position, we completely understand. Maybe we can help clear up any questions or concerns you may have. Please let us know what’s been holding you back and how we can assist you in making a decision.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

[Your name]
